Key to the win: The Rockies built a 6-1 lead after four innings last week before the rain made field conditions unplayable. Brandon Bowden hit a two run homer, and Sean Garbarino gave up only one run despite eight walks.

Jayson Melendez singled with no outs in the bottom of the seventh to score Duane Johnson from second base to give the Brewers a 4-3 win over the Mets Sunday at Kafer Park.

Alex Calabrese and Walker Hill held the Marlins to two hits, and Calabrese had four hits and drove in four runs as the Mets coasted past the Marlins, 14-4, in round 1 of the season-ending championship tournament Sunday at Kafer Park.

Key to the win: With the Mets winning 4-0, Malik Dixon hit a solo home run over the left centerfield fence. Two batters later, Gage Bohmuller hit a two-run homer deep into the police department parking lot to give the Mets a 7-0 lead.

The Red Sox managed only one hit on Sunday, but that one hit by Matt Curtis drove in what would turn out to be the winning run in the fifth inning as the Red Sox advanced to the second round of the tournament with a 4-3 win over the Braves at Kafer Park.

Key to the win: Kaiden Morales held the Braves to two earned runs over six innings, and the Red Sox took advantage of four crucial errors and three batters hit by pitches to score three unearned runs.
