Travis Wynne and Derek Sechrist each drove in two runs, and Matt Curtis tossed six innings and gave up two runs as the Nationals beat the Orioles, 6-3, Wednesday and claimed the ECABL 35+ Division championship.

Miscellaneous Notes: The two teams have faced each other in the championship game the last three years. The Nationals won in 2024, the Orioles won in 2025 and now the Nationals reclaimed the title in 2026.

What started out as a competitive game at 3-3 after the top of the fourth inning turned into a blowout as the Orioles used a mixture of hits, walks, errors and a whole lot of hit batsmen to win 18-3, Wednesday night at West Craven Park.
HIGHLIGHTS
Key to the win: Padres' pitchers nearly out-hit Orioles' batters. Eight Orioles hitters were hit by pitches to reach base compared to nine actual hits.

Three Nationals pitchers held to the Dodgers to four hits and no runs to lead the Nationals to a 7-0 win over the Dodgers in the first round of the championship tournament Tuesday night at West Craven Park.

Key to the win: A three-run first inning and pitching that kept the Dodgers' hitters off balance all night keyed the Nationals win.
