Three Nationals pitchers held to the Dodgers to four hits and no runs to lead the Nationals to a 7-0 win over the Dodgers in the first round of the championship tournament Tuesday night at West Craven Park.
HIGHLIGHTS
Key to the win: A three-run first inning and pitching that kept the Dodgers' hitters off balance all night keyed the Nationals win.

Game MVPs: BJ Horne went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Matt Curtis went 3-for-3 with two runs scored. Ervin Jones went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. He also pitched four innings, giving up two hits and no runs. He struck out two and walked none.
Noble Effort: Gabe Brown went 1-for-2. Shawn Ryan, Teddy Cardenas and Jimmie Lee went 1-for-3.
Miscellaneous Notes: The Nationals move on to play the winner of tonight's game between the Padres and the Orioles in the championship game on June 23.
